Seriously! I just got a new “subscriber” to my blog named by the name of “ergergwwbt” with a .ru email address. If there was any doubt in my mind I could have just hopped onto http://www.stopforumspam.com/ and searched for his email address to confirm my suspicions that it was a spammer.

People who haven’t posted, people I don’t know, and people who usually have a .cn email address will be deleted. So there!

I google new subscribers, and if they are known spammers they are GONE!

Finally someone posted the Pretenders video to Room Full Of Mirrors!

Why is this important to me? For one, @ 1:36 you can catch a glimpse of my old band’s graffiti covering the entrance to the original Detroit City Club. We (Walk Thru Walls) were the last band to play there on new year’s eve 1984*, and for a year or so our graffiti remained untouched located at the site of the Detroit Women’s City Club building on the corner of West Elizabeth and Park Avenue in downtown Detroit. The Pretenders were nice enough to play around the corner at the Fox Theater, and create this wonderful document of the area, circa 1985.

*Although Walk Thru Walls was the last live band to play there, the last song spun, by D.J. Sybil Augustine, was Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead performed by Klaus Nomi, a request by yours truly.

Shortly after 1PM today I attempted to enter the DIA and was told that it is closed, and that it had to be evacuated. No reason was given.

Why did this have to happen on Friday when admission is free to city residents?
