Golden Age comic art
I recently bought this piece of golden age art from the Iger shop. The artist might be Klaus Nordling or Jack Kamen or someone else. It’s a page from an issue of the National Comics publication Kid Dixon, from some time in the 1940s.
I especially like the expressionistic frames and the wonderful large face drawn with fine lines and a thick outline. If anyone knows what issue this came from, or what artist drew it for sure, please contact me.
UPDATE: After some research, this looks very much like Jack Kamen’s work in the Inspector Dayton comic strip.
