Detroit Institute of Arts evacuated–WTF?

Shortly after 1PM today I attempted to enter the DIA and was told that it is closed, and that it had to be evacuated. No reason was given.

Why did this have to happen on Friday when admission is free to city residents? :(

    Maybe they were giving a special party to the big donaters.

    I went again today, a week later, and asked. They said they had closed due to a bomb threat.
