Update: Obviously there are some serious gaps in my comic book knowledge. This is based on the character “Machine Man” by Jack Kirby.

Today I ran into a friend from college I hadn’t seen in several years, Guy Budziak. He’s an artist as well as a comic book scholar. I told him to check out my site, and it occurred to me that I should probably have some more examples of my illustrations in an easy-to-find location.

These are images that appear in various other places on the web. These are all done starting with a pencil drawing which is then scanned and manipulated in various ways in Photoshop. Older ones first, newer ones last.

Some years ago I created my first free font as part of the Futurex Project. This font was used on the “Mysterious Woman” theme for the Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow official website.
